1. Sip Cold Water and Eat Small Meals

Many researches show that sipping cold water through a straw will releases dopamine, a feel-good brain chemical that can help ease the negative moods.

2. Brush Your Teeth Frequently

The other way is brush your teeth frequently so that you’ll be less inclined to light up a cigarette and foul that clean, fresh mouth.

3. Avoid Alcohol

Many says that the act of drinking alcohol is also associated with smoking for many people, so it may serve as a trigger for any people to go back or to start smoking.

4. Be Active Every Day

When your body is active, it sends out natural chemicals that help your mood and reduce your stress. For sure, it will your urge to smoke.

5. Put Something Else in Your Mouth

You can use hard candy, or a healthy snack in your mouth when the urge strikes.

6. Be Alert to Bad Moods

Negative emotions such as anger, frustration, depression are another common reason people go back to smoking. So, be alert with your mood. Make sure you always keep your mood in control.

    I totally agree with this, for step 5 i believe smokers can chew gum too. And for step 6 yes i believe smokers should always have a cheerful attitude otherwise it would be disastrous. This tips are really great.
